19810323 Antardvip Parikrama Chand Kazi Samadhi Sripad & Acaryapada
The following is a lecture given by HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj on March 23, 1981 at Sridham Mayapur, India.
Prabhupada said now combining the western god brothers and god sisters, and the knowledge available, the Vedic knowledge available here in this land so that will benefit the whole world. It's all completely beyond any sectarian type of conception. Rather trying to bring the universal brotherhood the universal love and harmony among everyone not only among human beings but among animals, plants and insects and so many innumerable living entities in this universe.
ISKCON or International Society for Krishna Consciousness has been designed by HDG Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada was a great transcendental architect, is a great transcendental scientist, is a great transcendental engineer who could design such a wonderful platform so that the whole world can participate in the mission of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in the mission of the understanding about the science of Krishna Consciousness. So we are so fortunate at least to be part of this mission. So we all of us should be extremely grateful that somehow by the mercy of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, we have been allowed to help him, we have been allowed to assist him in his divine this great mission. So for us, the purpose is to at least get ourselves acquainted with the science of Krishna Consciousness , also we can make others Krishna Conscious, including our just like so many living entities, plants and human beings in every part of the world. So it is a great boon or a great blessing given by HDG Srila Prabhupada.
So one thing I like to request is that now in like the process of like going in this parikrama, the regular process we are conducting although it may look strange may be to those people who are not trained up like going barefoot or like going in the sun, so this type of austerity is a is a is a necessity, is a requirement in understanding about the science of devotion, about the science of how to be a vaishnava, about the science of to be a Krishna Conscious scientist. So these are the ways by which we can be brought nearer to the lotus feet of the spiritual master, to the lotus feet of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and to the lotus feet of all the Vaishnavas. So following in the footsteps of the great acharyas and serving them with great humility, with great love and devotion our life also would be successful. So the Bhagavat instructs that, "Nasta prayesu abhadreshu nityam bhagavata sevaya" that this world, this world of scientific and technological advancement is full of false or full of misfortunes. Abhadreshu means always full of misfortunes, but all this misfortune can be immediately removed always by serving Bhagavatam. "Nityam Bhagavata sevaya." Constantly; all the time-- birth after birth. So that serving the living Bhagavatam is the spiritual master, by following the orders and the footsteps of the spiritual master, one can develop this science of understanding of this Krishna Consciousness. That way, one day, by the mercy of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, by the mercy of his spiritual master and by the mercy of all Vaishnavas we will be eligible to receive at last, that blesssing. So it is a great privilege for me to share these thoughts from the Bhagavat philosophy and we humbly request that as long as although we come to this dham, just like Maharaj this morning, Jayapataka Maharaj discussed very nicely that we must be begging so that we can receive that mercy . So we should be always in that mood so there may be little sunshine, so there may be little hurting on the feet, but we should take it as a mercy of Krishna, as the mercy of Srila Prabhupada. So that if we take it in that light, in that mood, you will find that every moment you will be getting that ecstasy. Hare Krishna. Thank you very much.
Hare Krishna. Srila Sripad Ki…. Jai (everyone… clapping). So Here I am able to inspire with while this Chand Kazi’s body is buried here. Automatically, no one planted this tree; it just automatically came from his body, you see. And all the people come here and bow down to the samadhi of the Chand Kazi and even the Chand Kazi’s descendants are also very favorable to the Krishna Conscious movement. So we can take this opportunity now of everyone paying their obeisances to the Chand Kazi and his samadhi.
19850217_Sri_Navadvip_Mandala_Parikrama_Mamagachi_48kbps The following is a lecture given by His Holiness Jayapaka Swami on February 17th, 1985 in Mamgachi, Sri Nabadwip, India. The lecture was given during the Nabadwip mandal parikram. JPS: Hare Krishna Devotees: Hare Krishna JPS: Krishna Krishna Devotees: Krishna Krishna JPS: Hare Rama Devotees: Hare Rama JPS: Hare Rama Devotees: Hare Rama JPS: Rama Rama Devotees: Rama Rama JPS: Hare Hare Devotees: Hare Hare JPS: If there is any like Spanish or Japanish or any other language group that want to get together then you should move together so that one of you can translate. Aspaniol, detras, your 1.30 is here, they are all together already. Alright, so today the second day of the Nabadwip parikram, we have passed through three islands of Nabadwip dham, four actually, Madhyadwip, ritudwip, jahnudwip, koladwip and now we are in Madhuryadwip. Each of the nine islands of Nabadwip dham corresponds with one of the nine practices of devotional practice, and of course this year we are also having the opening of the Jagannath temple in Srimanta dwip island and because they were having a special procession with the deities at 4.30 in the afternoon, so we are shortening the length of the parikrama and just visiting a few places in this side of the river. So this is the eight island of Nabadwip dham which corresponds with servetitude. Therefore this island is considered to be non-different from Vaikuntha. You know that in Vaikuntha service to Krishna is performed in the mood of dasya rasa or service in awe and reveration, or friendship with respect by some devotees like Yudhistir. In Golok Vrindavan service is performed in the mood of pure love or prema, in the rasas of sakya, vatsalya and madhurya or friendhip, parental love or conjugal love. So here we are in the eight island. This is the island to fix ourselves in devotional service to the supreme personality of Godhead. Sometimes prematurely people want to rise to some higher relationship with the Lord artificially. That is known as sahajiy, trying to jump over or make things very cheap. The previous acharyas like Raghunath Das Goswami recommended that we should approach the Lord by looking at His lotus feet in an attitude of humility, of service. It is the Lord Himself who will grab us by the chin and bring our face up. We do not have to look higher. In other words we should approach with service and simply be concerned about how to offer service and not worry about rising to the relationships of friendship, parenthood or conjugal love that happens naturally when we reach our perfectional stage. But the great acharyas have give this example, we should just humbly concentrate in service. So here in this place on of the great servitors of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or rather more than one, several of the great servitors of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, they have been worshipping Lord Caitanya here for many many years. Therefore this place is considered to be very very sacred. The large tree which you see, which you... in which shape you are all, you are all taking shelter was struck by lightning and died and then Chaitanya Mahaprabhu when He saw that the devotees were feeling bad because the tree had passed away, He embraced the tree and brought back to life. Therefore this tree is considered to be siddha or perfect, “the siddha bakul”, because it was embraced by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and thus it came back to life. Actually even I... I have seen that this tree is totally hollow, but over the ten years ago one could see right inside the tree that it is totally hollow inside but gradually it is closing up again. I don’t know it is still possible to see the hollowness anymore. JPS: You can see? Devotee: Before you saw. JPS: So here Saranga Thakur had a 07.05. Saranga Thakur was a very simply devotee who was always engaged in serving Chaitanya Mahaprbhu, but he was very knowledgeable in Krishna consciousness philosophy, he was a pure devotee. So Lord Chaitanya had requested him to take disciples, but he as all pure devotee felt very humble. Therefore he considered himself to be unqualified, but at the same time he had to do it because it was the order of Lord Caigtanya, so he kept putting it off. But then again Lord Chaitanya would tell him, you must take disciples, because in the scriptures it is described that one must be ordered in order to take disciples. Lord Chaitanya said, “aamar agaia guru hay, on my order you become a guru.” This is the Krishna conscious philosophy. So Saranaga Thakur got the order again and again from Lord Chaitanya but still he was hesitating. Then he realized that he had to do it. It was the order of Lord Caitanya, on the strength of that order you have to do it, infact if you didn’t do it he was disobeying Lord Caitanya and therefore his devotional service would be obstructed. So he decided that the next person I see tomorrow morning when I wake up. The first person I see, I will initiate that person. I will preach to him whatever, I will initiate that person, so I can follow the order of Lord Caitanya. So early in the morning at 3.30 before Mangala Arati, Saranga Thakur wen to the Ganges to take his bath, Gange is very close by, about 15-10 minutes walk, last year we went bathing there. This year we forgot to announce, so nothing can be appropriate. But Saranga Thakur went there and he was bathing and somebody bumped into him and he thought, “Well, didn’t expect this so early. This is the first person I met. I taken an oath before the deity, I have to do it. So he grabbed the person by the ear and yelled in his year-
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, and the person jumped up and started chanting, “Haribol! Haribol! Haribol!”
So Saranga Thakur said, “You are my first disciple” and that person said, “but I am a dead man.” (laughter)
“How you are dead, you are speaking?”
He said, “ I was a part of the married... marriage party in the 10.22-22 that is 20-30 miles north of here. He went to bathe in the Ganges and he drowned, and he was actually... his corpse was floating in the water. That corpse.... when Saranga Thakur spoke in the year came back to life. So he said, “Now I owe my life to you, therefore I belong to you, so whatever you order I will do.”
So perfect relationship between disciple and guru. So he gave him the name Murari Thakur and this Murari Thakurs deities are his...actually Murari Thakur was worshipping Saranga Thakur’s deities and that way it is known as the Murari Thakur Sripad.
Actually he was brought back to life from death by the power of Hare Krishna mahamantra.
JPS: Hare Krishna mahamantra ki jay
Devotees: Jay
JPS: Saranga Thakur ki
Devotees: Jay
So we remembered how Srila Prabhupada described that the people in material life are practically like the walking dead, because they are living only to die.
We could see that Murari Thakur he died only to live, because he was given the real life, the spiritual life, which give you mortality and eternity.
And any Vaisnava when he leaves the body, the purpose is to go back to Godhead, to continue his devotional service. So the devotees are the real alive people, the people who have got the real life in this life and giving them the Harinam or the holy name of Krishna, that gives them real life.
So like to ask Jayadvaita Maharaj, he can tell us how we can bring the real life into the people who lack pure life in this world, the fallen souls.
Hare Krishna.
We like to request that
Jayadvaita Swami: Namaste Saraswati deve gaura vani pracharine, nirvisesa sunyavadi pasyata dese tarine. So if we want to give real life, first this is that we have to have real life.
Bhakti Siddhnatha Saraswati Thakur used to say that one who has life, he can preach. One who has life he can preach.
One gets life, Jivanam Sarva Bhuteshu, Krishna says, “I am this life of every living being.”
If one wants to have life, he has to be 13.19-20 with Krishna, otherwise he is a ah... a dead man, in the Bahagavatam also anyonw who doesn’t regularly hear the message of Krishna is a dead man although breathing. His breathing is like the breathing of the bellows in the blacksmiths 13.40-41
So when one comes in touch with Krishna ah... by the grace of the spiritual master, yasya deve para bhaktir tatha dever tatha kuru, tasyaite kathita ..........
One gets in touch with Krishna by faith in Krishna and faith in the spiritual master. Faith means not just ah... theoretical faith but faith means to follow. Actually the more we follow the instructions of the spiritual master the more we get the faith in the spiritual master because the process works.
It’s scientific, ah... therefore you can try it. Just like if someone gives the direction, “You go in this way and then go that way you will get this way and you will see this and you will see that and you will come to this.”, so you follow directions and you actually see all the things are happening, then you will say, “I will do this now 14.35-14.42 , or some doctor prescribes 14.42 this will happen, that will happen and you see it happen.
So if you follow the instruction of the spiritual master actually the process will take effect, ceto darpana marjana, and our consciousness will be cleansed, vava maha davagni nirvapanam, you will be freed from this entanglement of material existence and our life will become ah.. blissful, ah.. brahma bhuta prasanatma na sochati na kangshati, 15.14 the bliss of Lord Caitanya’s message, overfloods the heart, cleanses the heart and revi.... life is already there in the heart but practically....that life is covered, it’s so covered that 15.28-30, but when that life is uncovered by chanting and hearing ah... then vidhya vadhu jivanam, real knowledge, real existence, real life comes out and real life means preaching, as the real life comes out then 15.45
Therefore we have to pass ah... bhagavat viddhi, pancharatra viddhi. Bhagavat viddhi means preaching, to preach the glories of ah... holy name of Krishna, the form of Krishna, the qualities, pastimes, everything of Krishna, ah...pancharatriki vidhi means rules and regulations, deity worship and so on.
So both things are required, parallel wise. If we proof ourselves very strong by Pancharatrika viddhi, following regulative principles, rising early in the morning, worshipping the deity, hearing and chanting, ah...everything, ah... temple worship, to keep ourselves strong enough, then our faith goes into Bhagavat Viddhi.
Of the two the Bhagavat Viddhi is the more important, even if we have to sacrifice something of the Pancharatrika Viddhi, that’s alright we can do that because the real thing is the Bhagavat Viddhi, ah... to preach the glories of Krishna, actually by preaching we can get strength, we can simply preach and preach and preach, the more you preach, ah... the more you become strong, ah... materially the more you give something away the less you have, but spiritually the more you give away the more you have, that’s Lord Caitanya’s movement, increase, not decrease.
The more you preach the glories of Krishna, the more you preach the real life of devotional service the more our lifespan increases, the more our life increases, ...at the same time we keep ourselves very strong by following the regulative principles, ah... by keeping very strict sadhana bhakti of chanting our rounds properly, following the standard procedures as explained in nectar of devotion, 17.42 more on being strong, on and on and on and on ah... this movement will be ah... unlimitedly expanded ah... we don’t have to invent anything, nothing new, nothing concocted, nothing ah... innovative, none of this things are required.
If you simply... as they say in America, “stick to you guns”, if we stick to our principles ah... as given by our founder acharya Srila Prabhupada, if we simply stick to this principles ah...they will certainly be effective. That certainly be effective. Krishna is all attractive, the holy name is all purifying, the vedic literature gives all knowledge, ah...everything is there, everything is there, we don’t have to add anything, we don’t have to substract anything, we simply give this process as it is, follow it as it is preach it as it is, continue it as it is, ah... certainly sublime result predicted by Lord Caitanya will certainly come about. All over the world people will take to this chanting, Sri Krishna Caitanya Prabhu Nityananda Sriadvaitya, Gadadhara, Srivasadi Gaur Bhakta Vrinda. Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare. JPS: This is also the place where very near to here, Lord Caitanya was taking His Sankirtan party, He rested at the house of Vasudev Dutta. Vasudev Dutta’s was one of the main branches of Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s tree. He appeared in Catur Gram which is now in Bangladesh, and he lived by the side of the house of Pundarik Vidyanidhi, who is one of the, is the third branch of Caitanya Mahaprahu’s tree. That Pundarik Vidyanidhi’s birth place is managed by ISKCON devotees, or recognised devotees, disciples and grand disciples of Srila Prabhupada, and by the mercy of Vasudev Duttta, he has also given us his residential house there in Caturgram. We would like to take you all there to show you that beautiful place, or that might not be possible today. But he is also residing here, just nearby, after we give breakfast and we want to go and visit the house of Vrindavana Das Thakur who wrote the Ciatanya Bhagavat. If possible we will go by the house of Vasudev Dutta, which has been re-exavated. It was totally lost and by using archaeological systems we were able to re-exavate and find the original foundation of his house and temple, and we have uncovered there some ancient conchshells and copper, puja articles, which appeared to be from the time of Caiatnya Mahaprabhu. Well at that place Lord Caitanya was approached by Vasudev Dutta, that Vasudev Dutta expressed his heart’s desire, that he wanted to give himself in sacrifice. He wanted to offer himself in a complete surrender. He begged Caitanya Mahaprabhu that since he has tasted the nectar of devotionals service, and since he could see that how the people in this world were suffering in ignorance, due to their karmas, how they are suffering due to forgetfulness of Krishna. He thought that why should one person alone should have this nectar. So he begged Caitanhya Mahaprbhu to give all of his sinful reactions to him, so that he could suffer on their behalf and they could go back to Godhead and engage in pure devotional service, even though would mean that he would have to stay perpetually in this material world in order to suffer their karma. He was not fearful. Rather he was perfectly eager to take on that huge responsibility in order that everyone can be returned back to home, back to Godhead. Lord Caitanya was so moved, that He embraced Vasudev Dutta, and was crying but of course He explained that just by your desire the whole universe is already delivered, but why Krishna would keep His pure devotee in some suffering condition, so actually we see that by the desire of Srila Prabhupada, that the devotee’s, the people, the fallen souls of the world, by Srila Prabhupada’s desire, and the desire of the previous acharya’s like Vasudev Dutta, they are already delivered and it is simply all of you preachers doing to go out and give them that mercy which is already waiting for them. So like to request ah.. Loka24.29 Maharaj, to speak for a few moments about this transcendental mercy and compassion of the preachers. LM: Namo Om Vishnupadaya Krishnaprestaya Bhutele Srimati Bhaktivedanta Swami Iti Namine. Namaste Saraswati Devam Gauravani Pracharine, nirvesesa sunyavadi paschyata dese tarine Actually ah... a devotee of Krishna, he is very compassionate to all living beings because... he is compassionate because He has control. Yoga yukta visudhatma, when one is engaged in devotional service of Krishna, yoga yukta, yukta means engaged and he always constantly engaged in the service of Krishna. Vijiatma jitendriya, vijitatma jitendriya, he has full control over the mind and the senses. Sarva bhutatma, bhutatma, he has full control over the mind and the senses, therefore he becomes very compassionate towards all living beings. Sarva bhutatma, bhutatma, and kurvan api na lipyate, and while doing so. Kurvan means to do something, to do some action, then in the result of that activity, na lipyate, he never becomes entangled in the material world. So a devotee is such a classed 26.14 person that he is very compassionate because he has the key to success, which is being engage 24 hours in the service of the Lord. Hrisikesha Hrishikena Sevanam Bhakti Uchyate, so this is the ah... the key to success for all living beings, whether one is a man, child, grown up, elderly or whatever, this is the ah... the genuine spiritual process, to get the mercy of Krishna, and to distribute that mercy, is by engaging in the scientific process, and by which Prabhupada has described to all living beings it is very nice. His diving grace Srila Prabhupada has written a very, very nice series, the yoga system, and if we go through them very very seriously, while engaging in the service of Krishna consciousness, then we can perfect our lives. So the key of perfection, that is to just simply try to always be engaged in the service of Krishna, under the instructions of the... our... the acharyas of our sampradaya. So actually I have nothing much to say, but it is very very nice to be here, in this very auspicious place. Hare Krishna. JPS: 27.46 , they don’t have such intimate relationship with many countries, but in this case they are all living together, the four brothers, there were five brothers, and before Lord Caitanya appeared the oldest brother of Srivas had already left the world, and ah... His daughter was Narayani, so Narayani was being brought up practically like...as the daughter of Srivas and Malini. When Lord Caitanya appeared, she was five years old. At the age of five years, whenever she would hear the harinama she would faint in ecstasy. She was obviously pure devotee, nitya siddha from her very birth. So there...she of course knew everything about during the... when she was there during the whole kirtans and everything, and her son wrote the whole history of Caitanya Mahaprabhu that time, he is also directly initiated in the line of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He accepts Lord Nityananda as the spiritual master. So Vrindavan Das Thakur was born here, the son of Narayani, his father Vaikuntha Nath, the father of Vrindavana Das Thakur, left the world before he was born. So he never saw his father. Only saw his mother. He wrote the Chaitanya Bhagavata, in a place nearby here, in ah...the same district but 20-30 miles from here, where we have also done some work there. This temple is being maintained by the Gauria Math, the Caitanya Math. Since the time of Bhaktisiddhantha Sarasvati Thakur, so Vrindavan Das Thakur is considered like ah... a Vyasadeva of our sampraday, of Caitanya’s pastimes. He wrote down the whole history of Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s early life and he revealed how Lord Nityananda is actually Balram and then Lord Caitanya is Himself, Radha and Krishna combined. So in this place ah... we can remember that Rupa Goswami, that Srinivas Acharya, once wrote a small poem, excuse me, it was actually Narottam Das Thakur, where he said that some people are empowered to write transcendental literatures for Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and others are empowered to distribute those literatures, like Rupa Gosvami, he wrote the literatures, and Srinivas acharya distributed them, and they are both to be considered, both writers and both distributors as the personal energies of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Sankirtan Yajna Ki Devotees: Jay JPS: Transcendental book distribution ki Devotees: Jay JPS: Transcendental book writing ki Devotees: Jay JPS: At first Srila Prabhupada wrote the books as well as arranged for their distribution, and personally distributed as well. We saw in India Prabhupada was sitting on the pandal programs and he would hand... he would ah... distribute his autograph books and hundreds of people would line up to get there, in this way showing us all how to distribute, the necessity of distributing the transcendental literatures. So here in the sacred birthplace of Vrindavana Das Thakur we can dedicate ourselves to the transcendental sacrifice of writing and distributing, of course mainly now we have distributing what Prabhupada has already written. So our duty is to distribute primarily this transcendental literatures handed down from Srila Prabhupada in all the languages of the world. Of course printing that also, and translating that into different languages, is equally important. So Subhak Maharaj who joined this movement in ah... England, but he was born here in Bengal. Now he has been preaching all over Asia, especially in Bengal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand for the past so many years. The dear disciple of Srila Prabhupada, he is also engaged in helping in translating Srila Prabhupada’s literatures from English again back into Bengali, just as it was predicted by Bhaktisiddhantha, that people would learn Bengali just to be able to read the sweet words of the Caitanya Caratamrita and Caitanya Bhagavat. Even nowadays the people are learning English to be able to read also Prabhupada’s sweet purports. Devotees: Joy JPS: But for those who have not yet learnt of course, we also translate into different languages. So Maharaj, you tell us something about the importance of understanding the knowledge in Srial Prabhupada’s books. Subak Swami Maharaj: So today, we are very fortunate that by the mercy of Prabhupada, we are in this movement, and ah... it is just like instead of seeing God, Krishna, we can see through His pure devotee by reading his books, and then also we are fortunate that Prabhupada, you can see Prabhupada, you haven’t seen through his disciples, those who have intimate association with Prabhupada. I know Prabhupada though wrote, many books and talked about Krishna, and Krishna’s pastimes, especially one thing among Prabhupada’s disciple, just specially those who are.. he gave them, made them leaders and gave them intimate association. Among all of them, most probably only Acaryapad, I find specially, who is started this ah.. gram parikrama and making the devotees so much blissful, taking them different parts for many years since I came from the West. He is very blissful. Each and every devotee who come here, I don’t think, there is so many other we have got programs, but this dham parikrama, I don’t know if Prabhupada, during Prabhupda’s time we didn’t have that, as far as I remember, but... we had? JPS: He took us in the first parikrama Maharaj: But only after that I see from my experience that ah... Acharya actually takes special care of that, and he actually ah... most of the thing he has done by him, in the... after Prabhupada, and that pastimes of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, which is maybe depending on the presentation all the details, which you could never, even if Prabhupada’s book, not maybe detailed at by the mercy of Prabhupada’s and Prabhpada’s disciple ah... specially Acharyapad, he has given that in detail, wherever you go, even in class lecture also. From here you can understand that, that... and we can relish the pastimes of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, by His pure devotees. Once also we heard that, among Prabhupada’s disciples many of them, must have... maybe they have Caitanya Mahaprabhu, or somehow or other connected. In this connection you heard that two of Prabhupada’s disciple’s were directly helped somehow or other. Ah... Lord Caitanya and Nityananda, and there also, you heard among them, one of them was ...acharyapad named, and Prabhupad mentioned and heard. So you can see, you can know about Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and His parshad and the pure devotees, but he helped all the...their disciples, those who are coming in the disciplic succession. So Prabhupada gave in back to...Bhagavat Gita, As it is, how the disciplic succession is coming. So if we strictly stick to it, then and carry out the order just like our present, those who are GBC, they are instead of deviating we strictly follow. Little bit before our Jaya Advaitya Swami said, and also mentioned that, yasya deve para bhakti, this is a very important sloka, one who has got unflinching, implicit faith and devotion in the words of the guru, and also Krishna, Supreme Personality of Godhead Caitanya Mahaprabhu, everything will be revealed...revealed, and the Gosvami’s also said that Sevon Mukhe hi Jivhadau, if we are always engaged in the studies of Krishna, under the guidance of the guru parampara. Here we have got now GBC. Prabhupada represented it. So if we strictly follow that , sadhu , sastra and guru then everything will be revealed within us. Krishna said, “ evam....ah... evanukampartam... there in Bhagavat Gita, there is one sloka that... Devotee: Subak Swami Maharaj: No Not that Devotee: Tesam evanukampartham Subask Swami Maharaj: Tesam evanukampartham, when Krishna sees that devotees are mat citta mat gata prana, not only he is citta, his heart, even hi soul, everyting, ah...sacrificed in service of Krishna, Mahaprabhu, under the guidance of His representative, then Krishna out of compassion, He reveals everything, He keeps guidance, He keeps intelligence, Buddhi Jogam dadami, and it is said that, Brahma the word, it is greatest and it is always increasing unlimitedly, and Caitanya Mhaprabhu also said this sankirtan movement, this is anandam budhivardhanam, the spiritual thing means always increasing. So by associating with Prabhupada, what he showed and taught us, if we carry out our ah... bliss will always increase. So exactly like that, those who are his representative, we follow them, and carry out, then .... our bliss will also increase, unlimitedly, like that. And another place it is said that, nitya nava nava haya ..., special service is always nitya, nitya means eternal and nava navana haya, means always it is changing, and always new, just like Krishna, Krishna is also like that, one of the characteristic is like that. So devotional service non-different from Krishna, so our life and our devotional service, when we engage, like that... Transcribed by: Sadananda Krishnaprem Das
